(Redirected from CNC Designing with VCarve Pro)
The first step to CNC usage is knowing how to create a CNC file. The process that MakerFX supports use VCarve Pro as the G-code creation tool. G-code is the most widely used computer numerical control (CNC) programming language. It is used mainly in computer-aided manufacturing to control automated machine tools, this does not just apply to the CNC Router, but also to the CNC 3D Printers, and CNC Lasers. The protocol can be used for many purposes. It is important to know that each piece of equipment or system needs to be sent the correct type of information. That is the reason MakerFX uses VCarve Pro as the creation tool for the CNC Router.
