You can use various adhesives to attach a document / photo to the chipboard.


Steps

  1. Attach your document / photo to the piece of chipboard. Try and keep it parallel to one of the edges.
  2. Measure the dimensions of the puzzle. You will need this for the next step to create the SVG. For this puzzle it is 260mm x 201mm.
  3. Generate a Jigsaw SVG file - Click Here
  • For this example I configured tiles to be 8 x 6 for a total of 48 pieces
  • Remember to click Download SVG as this will be needed later
  1. Use Illustrator and create a document the desired size of the puzzle
  2. Use File -> Place function to import the SVG file into the AI document
