Introduction to Laser Cutting & Etching
Description
"Learn about laser cutting / etching, and how to use our Epilog laser (http://www.makerfx.org/laser) from our instructor, and spend some time with the laser in action."
Objectives
- Student will identify safe materials for laser cutting.
- Student will design a simple object to be cut and etched by the laser.
- Student will distinguish between raster imagery and vector imagery.
- Student will operate a simple laser cut while under supervision.
